Answers

For the past month I've been having some health issues and now that I finally have some answers of what's going I feel more comfortable sharing... I normally think of myself as a pretty tough chick about a month ago I woke up to really intense chest and back pain. I felt like I was being squeezed really really hard... after 6-7 hours of this CRAZY intense pain I was finally able to go back to sleep. 2 weeks later the same thing happened... at that point I knew something was really wrong. And during this entire month I found myself being really nauseous and uncomfortable (I even bought a pregnancy test to rule that out)... after going to the Doctor the chest pains happened one more time... while I was waiting on the results of my blood tests and my abdominal ultrasound. Well it ends up that I have Gallstones. I was sent to the surgeon... and today the surgeon told me that my only option at this point is surgery. I have, in her words, "10 beautiful gallstones sitting in my gallbladder". My response was... "as long as they are beautiful it will be OK :)" The gallstones are what has been causing all the chest, back pains and nausea. So next week my Wonderful Mommy will fly into town to help with my babies while I am in, and recovery from surgery. At least with having 2 c-sections I understand what surgery is like. But it won't take as long to recover from this than a c-section, thank goodness! My surgery is scheduled for October 29th so hopefully I'll be good to walk around with Connor on Halloween night! Can't miss that! Well I just thought I would share. Thank you everyone for keeping me in your prayers. I'm so relieved to know what is going on now.

This weekend part 2

Saturday night we invited our friends Jack and Michelle Tucker and Marc and Mikia over to carve pumpkins!! It's been a couple of years since Kiel and I did it so we were excited. We sat outside while the kids played in the backyard. It was a nice night to just chill and have fun. I don't have a ton of pictures from that night.. Chloe wanted to be snuggled most of the night but here are a couple.
Mine is the crab looking one... I was rushing and I accidentally cut off the head of the spider it was supposed to be... I liked the crab idea so I just left it alone... but Kiel's favorite football team is the Minnesota Vikings so he did their logo. He did a great job... he did it just from looking at a picture. Very impressed!

we took outside a lamp so we could look at each of the pumpkins lit up.. Kiel's looked awesome!

This weekend

Last Friday was opening day of the Arizona State Fair. It was only $1 to get in so we went with Marc and Mikia... It was crazy hot yet again... 100 degrees the car said when we left so it was a little uncomfortable and tough for Connor but we had fun.

Connor started out on the bear but then he realized saying "NaaaNaaa" over and over again was more fun.. than saying "RaaRaaorr" so on a horse we went....

Connor loved walking around and seeing all the smelly animals!!

There was a cute little petting area that Connor loved.. he went around and carefully patted the animals saying "soft, soft"...

Connor thought the entire time that he was the guide... he like all the cows.. "mooMoo"

Connor and his best friend... Daddy!

Kiel and Marc had a contest to see who hit the hardest... Marc won!! Poor Kiel.

New and Improved....

I decided to do a little better job on my "art" work... so I made some new decorations and laminated them so they would last for next year and then I added the popcorn hands and the spiders! They were fun to make and Connor enjoyed helping.. (by that I mean eating the Candy Corn!)

I am really excited this year for Halloween!!!

Arts and Crafts

Today Connor seemed so restless... even after our walk.... playing at a park... jumping on the tramp and playing in the backyard... he just seems to have so much energy, It's crazy! Anyways I thought to make some goofy Halloween decorations that Connor could help with. So here is what we came up with. You can hopefully tell which ones I colored and which ones he did. We had fun.
Connor had fun moving all the animals around... he made them talk to each other. I put some of them out of reach for the picture but he'll play with them all for sure!!

A nice weekend

This past weekend we continued to get over our nasty colds, but we went out on Saturday night to help celebrate Michelle Wendelschafer's (Kiel's sister n'law) birthday. We all met at Texas roadhouse... We had a huge group... it was a nice night.. it's always a good time with Kiel's family. Being sick all week and having some other health issues.. it was nice to get out and forget about everything for a night. I have to say that I love Kiel so much. Even through his sickness he always managed to think of me first and take such good care of me. He truly is my hero.
Connor, Kiel and Me waiting in the car for everyone at the restaurant... A Man came around and made all the kids these balloon animals... Connor got a Tiger.. Not a great picture (thanks to my camera phone) but he LOVED it!!

Miss Chloe after church on Sunday. We sat outside and watched Connor play with Petey.. He Loves being in the back yard with his puppy!!

*4Years*

Last night Kiel and I celebrated our 4Th wedding Anniversary. We had made reservations at The Compass Room in phoenix and a more romantic evening but due to both of us being super sick we just decided to walk around the mall... we bought Connor long sleeved shirts (you know because it fell below 90 degrees so it's "cold") then we went and ate at our favorite, Claim Jumpers. After Dinner I really wasn't feeling up for much more so we went back and got our kiddos and headed to bed... Even though it wasn't the Most romantic evening it was just nice to be with the one person I love most in this world. Kiel and I have had an Amazing 4 years of marriage.. Kiel truly is my best friend, he's always there for me, he calms me down when I stress or get upset, He's always supported me in my decisions and loved me through my mistakes. I am so grateful that I found such a kind, hardworking, loving man. When we were still dating I nicknamed him my "superman" and he really has been my superman in so many ways. To Kiel, I love you and am grateful you have put up with me through everything. I hope for many more spectacular years!! Happy Anniversary!!

Big Boy!!!

Yesterday Connor climbed, Jumped?? out of his crib twice... I put him down for bed and 15 minutes later I hear a knocking on the door... I open the door and he's standing there and he says, "Mommy... da, stairs?" Ha.. I said.. and eventually he stayed put in his crib. But Today Kiel and I decided it was time... We took the railing down and added the 2 little mini walls. Nap time came.... and..... HE DID IT!!! I read him a story and told him it was nap time..he said "ok Mommy" He slept for a good 2 hours.. When I went up stairs I found him still laying in his bed and he pointed to the mini walls and said "Uh Oh Mommy..." he walked over to the closet where we stored the big railing and again said "Uh Oh Mommy... Connor's?" He did a good job... I love seeing him grow up, He's such a blessing in my life. He just melts my heart.
