2nd UltraSound

Today we had another look at our little girl. Again she wasn't being too corporative so after a couple of turns I got up and jumped around to get Chloe in a better position to see her heart. But finally we got some good shots of her 4 heart chambers. The doctor says she looks great. Right now she weighs 1pound 10ounces. She's in the 34 percentale which the Dr says is a little small but she looks great. We also talked to the Doctor about setting a date for the c-section. He said they would make a call to the hospital to schedule but in 3 weeks at my next appointment if it works for us and him we're shooting for August 3rd! The sooner we get that on the calendar the better but who knows things might change!! The fun part of pregnancy:(

Mikia's Baptism

Yesterday we went out to Mikia's Baptism. Mikia is Kiel's brother's fiance'. They have been together for more than 2 years and are engaged to get married sometime in the fall. The date is always changing. But she has always said that one day they'll get sealed in the temple which I found to be surprising since neither one of them were very active, but about 2 months ago they started taking the discussions and she excitedly told us in April she would be baptized! We're so happy for her and for Marc, he found a really amazing girl and we're so glad she'll be apart of this Crazy family! Anyways..... We're very happy for her!!

*BedTime*

I've always gone with the rule that Connor and All our kids would sleep in their own rooms, in their own beds at all times. I Love and Need my space at night or I don't sleep well. But last night as I was going upstairs to bed I heard Connor screaming bloody murder. Now that past couple of weeks Connor has been getting his 4 fang teeth so this screaming has been due to his pain at night. Nothing new... usually I let his figure it out himself and he'll go back to sleep but last night my sensitivity card was on high just walking by his bedroom I just went in without thinking. I held him for a little while and tried to calm him down by talking to him but nothing was working and before I knew it I said, "Do you want to go and snuggle with Dadda?" and of course Connor stopped crying and through his sobs he said Yesssss... So for the first time all 3 of us snuggled in bed... by that I mean Kiel and I took the way outsides while Connor flipped, tossed and turned. A couple of hours later Kiel left for work and that's when I took the opportunity to take Connor back into his room for some real sleep. He of course was pist and cried for a good while but at that point my sensitivity card was Long Gone!! To those that have never have their children sleep with them I would highly recommend NEVER doing it!!! They sleep much better in their own beds!!!

And the Winner is....

And the Winner of the UFC 97 Redemption Fight was... Kiel! With Betting on 5 of the main fights Kiel predicted them all. Earlier that day we went to Goodwill and picked up a trophy for the winner. We decided it will get passed around from winner to winner each fight night. It's silly but it makes it more interesting!!! Even the older kids get involved. It's cute. Anyways. Thought I would share....

Final Name

Kiel gave me the official word that this little girl's name is going to be Chloe. It was always my favorite. I found that the meaning of the name Chloe is 'Blooming'... which I find to be very interesting because lately I've been crazy about planting flowers, grass in the backyard and growing my vegetables. It just makes me smile inside. Anyways. Thought I would share.

Mercedes...

Yesterday Kiel brought home his new "Baby"... a 1991 Mercedes 300E. His good Friend's girlfriend didn't want the car anymore. It was broken down in some parking lot and they told Kiel he could have it for free.. Kiel never really asked but he told me that he was going to bring it home. The title was put in his name and it's official I guess. Kiel got it to run and he drove it home and found the problem... I guess a tiny hose was leaking... I don't know... It needs a little TLC but Kiel's excited about it. I'll never understand Kiel's obsession with Cars but oh well. At least it was free so far..........

*Happy Easter*

This morning the ladies in the ward all got together to do an Easter Egg Hunt for all the kids. Something they do every Good Friday, because kids are out of school here in Gilbert. The seperated the kids in 2 groups.. kids 6 and under went on one side and kids older went on the other...Connor had a lot of fun and he did really good.. He just needs to move a little faster!! It took a lot for me not to get into the action and help Connor:)
Ready..... Set..... Go!!!!! And.. They're off!!
Connor.. slowly finding eggs.....
He wanted to open them all up!!!

A long Time Coming

We've been in this house for almost 2 years and we finally committed to cleaning up the backyard. After getting quotes ranging from $900 - $1800 to get to the finished product Kiel took it upon himself to get it done. With the help of his brothers they finished the job this morning!!! So here are some pictures from Beginning to end!!!
When we first moved in we have cactus Galore!!!!! To get rid of all of it was the first project! And the next picture we got rid of that tree and cactus... that 2nd tree started to slowly die...
These are pictures without the cactus and tree... we next layed more rock to fill in the dirt...

Next Kiel, me...(kinda) and Sean dug up the old sprinkler system and laid new piping and sprinkler heads...

Next and Finally was to lay SOD!!! Yeah!!!! We're finished! It took us about a week and half but we only spent around $350 for Everything! (minus the removal of cactus...)
