Gila Valley Temple Dedication

We had the opportunity to attend the Gila Valley Temple Dedication yesterday. They extended the dedication all throughout Arizona which was a wonderful experience. As Kiel and I walked into our stake center, with our "green cards" our recommends in hand... that same sweet feeling you feel in the temple was there. People spoke softly and reverently. They canceled all church meetings for the day and had 3 sessions of the dedication. It was such a blessing to sit and partake of the wonderful, inspired messages each speaker had. It was really sweet when President Eyring and President Monson joked around with one another. It felt as if I was standing in their presence. What great men we are lead by. I am so excited for this new temple. Even though it's a drive... about 3 hours away, it's just one of the 3 temples being built here in Arizona. And they keep getting closer to us. Even though the Mesa temple is only 10 minutes away, it will be nice having 3 within an hour drive. What a blessing, for the inspiration that President Monson had to build more temples here in Arizona. It was an amazing experience and I am looking forward to the 2 others within the next couple of years.
