For Christmas Kiel received generous amount of gift cards to HomeDepot... so this weekend we decided to replace some lighting in our house. We changed out the hall light in the upstairs hallway... and before putting the light up I finally added a little color to the walls.
We also hung a new chandelier.. We had to rent a Ladder to reach the ceilings... We have 20'+ ceilings.. so we wanted to do both at the same time.
This is the Huge Ladder... 16' ladder!!! That's Kiel's Brother Sean at the very top! 
They had a hard time putting the fan up... after almost 4 hours.. they got the fan to work but the light fixture wouldn't turn on.... We'll get it. Our next project is to paint our family room so we'll have to rent a scaffolding or huge ladder again.. so they'll fix that next time!!
But it's sure nicer than what was there before!!! It's nice to finally cross those things off our "House improvement" list!
