~*6 Months*~

Chloe will be 6 Months next week... and while I was thinking about it today I snapped some shots of her. I haven't done it Every month but here she is with her sign!

"My Nature Walk"

Today Connor and I got to play with Logan for the day... and instead of Watching their favorite movie Cars Over and Over again.. (which they would have LOVED) I decided to take them on a Nature Walk... Not that Arizona has a bountiful assortment of Greenery...at least we can see the ground. (hahaha Utah..) I gave both Logan and Connor a brown paper bag and we went around together collecting things. They had fun. Back at the house... I helped each boy glue their things to the board I made for them... adding a picture... this was their finished projects... It was fun. I ended up finishing them... but hey they're 2... what can you expect:)

Disney on Ice

Yesterday... Kiel, Connor and I went to see Disney's on Ice!! As an early Birthday present Kiel thought it would be fun to take Connor. He was so excited! We had really great seats (thanks Grandma Miller!). First came out Mickey and Minnie... then Donald and Goofy.. Connor loved them and was so surprised to see each character pop out. Next was the CARS characters... and if anyone doesn't know already Connor is OBSESSED with the Cars movie. He literally freaked out when he saw Mater!!

Connor had a hard time holding back his excitement in his own chair... it would start to fold up on him.. so he ended up sitting in both Kiel and my laps.. At one point during the show he was so mad that he had to go potty... We hurried back though:)

Next was the Lion King... I didn't get a lot of good shots of these guys.. they were moving too fast!!

Next was little mermaid (No pictures) and Tinkerbell... during these portions Connor grew a little impatient... I thought maybe the cars would come back out...

The cars never came back out:( But Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy did to say goodbye.

Silly Girl

Little Ms Chloe has been grabbing everything in sight these days! Today Kiel was holding her and in his hand he had a cookie.. while looking away she went for it!!! She totally grabbed the entire thing and started going at her mouth... thinking it was too cute we didn't stop her. It barely went into her mouth but she had a good suck! "Silly Chloe" as Connor would say!

Lighting!

For Christmas Kiel received generous amount of gift cards to HomeDepot... so this weekend we decided to replace some lighting in our house. We changed out the hall light in the upstairs hallway... and before putting the light up I finally added a little color to the walls.

We also hung a new chandelier.. We had to rent a Ladder to reach the ceilings... We have 20'+ ceilings.. so we wanted to do both at the same time.
This is the Huge Ladder... 16' ladder!!! That's Kiel's Brother Sean at the very top! They had a hard time putting the fan up... after almost 4 hours.. they got the fan to work but the light fixture wouldn't turn on.... We'll get it. Our next project is to paint our family room so we'll have to rent a scaffolding or huge ladder again.. so they'll fix that next time!!
But it's sure nicer than what was there before!!! It's nice to finally cross those things off our "House improvement" list!

Zoo passes

For Christmas this year we got season passes to the Phoenix Zoo. Connor loves all the animals and I am excited about being able to go so often! Yesterday was Kiel's day off so we decided to go. Grandma Theresa came by and stole Chloe so she didn't go with us but I think Connor enjoyed the extra attention. Connor loved each and every animal. He most espically enjoyed being able to run from exhibit to exhibit. He has so much energy!!

Connor at the New Gila Monster exhibit!! The Gila monster was inside due to the "cold" weather. They cannot control their own body temperatures... I guess 65 degrees is too cold for them in the middle of JANUARY!!!
The Gorilla exhitbit is our favorite. We could have watched this little guy all day. Connor loved watching him play with his "Blankie"

Things to do...

The past couple of days nothing really exciting has happened.. except that church now starts at 8:30... which sounded really early to me.. but with Kiel having a permanent pull-up guy he is home all morning to help. It was nice having the entire day together to relax. So here are just some cute shots from the past couple of days....

Chloe with the bookbag Grandma Theresa got her for Christmas! It was full of goodies.
Chloe is now old enough (strong enough) to go in the bike trailer... so we have gone out a couple of times.. The cutest thing is that while riding.. I turned around to check on them and Connor and Chloe were holding hands... The entire way. He's such a good brother.
It started out as a coloring project for Connor... Mommy ended up doing the entire thing.. but Connor goes over every now and then and counts. He's doing pretty good about knowing which number looks like. He enjoys learning...

*~*Happy 2010*~*

Last night... I think in the 4 years we've been married, Kiel and I never have stayed up and had a New Year's Eve kiss... well, This year we DiD iT! ok... ok... we were in bed by 10ish... feeding Chloe... changing diapers... rocking her to sleep... watching TV... pillow talk..... but we made it... 12:00am Happy New Year.. kiss.... 12:02 Zzzzzzz.... a Success. Usually I am the one that is awake and can hear the fireworks or people screaming from outside the window while Kiel was fast asleep next to me.

Kiel and I haven't formally sat down and talked or written down our goals for this upcoming year but I think we are on the same page on certain issues we want to be better at. Not that last wasn't wonderful but I hope this year is a bit calmer... no more babies.. no more surgeries.. no more seizures etc etc. I really hope and pray that we have a successful and healthy year!! As well as everyone else... Happy New Year everyone!
