Latest Project

Last Fall I found a great Tutorial on how to make a Laptop case. So I made one for my sister Erin, for Christmas. It turned out better than I had anticipated. So this week I found the courage to try to attempt another one for our portable DVD player. Today the kids and I head off to Utah… and I thought a case would help protect the DVD player during our travels. It turned out pretty cute and I am surprised I got it finished in 2 days with having such a Busy week!!

The kids helped picked the colors. I think it turned out pretty good. It’s big enough that we can stick the charger or headphones in the bag as well. I would never call myself a great seamstress ever but with a Very detailed tutorial I can follow directions pretty well!

July Birthdays!!

So the festivities started last week in Las Vegas where all 4 siblings met from all over to celebrate Erin’s 21st birthday!! Of course my parents are off enjoying themselves over in Europe somewhere… so they missed out :) We had a great time. Eric’s sooo soon to be wife Libby made Erin’s delicious birthday cupcakes and pretty much fed us all weekend. Eric found a good woman! We had a babysitter come over 2 nights so we could go out and have “Adult time” whatever that is… Friday night we went down to the strip and had a DELICIOUS steak dinner and then saw the Blue Man Group. I must be getting old but a 10pm show… is super late to this pregnant momma.. but anything for my Erin ..xoxoxo. Then on Saturday Erin and Libby caught me up on all the Harry Potter Drama… I mean movies and we watched the 7th one during nap time.. And after dinner we went to see the new movie… I can’t say I am a super Harry Potter Fan.. but it was good. And of course with good company I’m up for anything!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Erin loves the Bieber… don’t let her fool you by the “look” she totally has “Bieber fever”.. .right? ok Maybe not….

Uncle Eric… Best Uncle in the world… well at least when he’s not terrifying Connor to death!

Next…. we did do a little early presents for Connor. Couldn’t resist. He got a fun laptop from Great Grandma and Grandpa Miller.. Which he loves by the way!!! The kids fight over it all the time!!! He LOVES IT!!! Thank you!!!

From Grandma and Grandpa Miller he got Remote controlled Cars.. Which he loves as well!! I love that there are 2 and Connor can share with Chloe!! “Monkey see, Monkey Do”… these kids…

On Tuesday the 19th (last night) back at home we celebrated Connor’s birthday by going to see the new Cars 2 Movie with his cousins and his family. He really enjoyed it. After we went to Peter Piper Pizza to meet up with more family. The kids loved being able to run around and play. Connor had a Great birthday!!!

I couldn’t resist when I saw Phineas and Ferb walkie talkies at Toys'rus… He has been playing with them all day. My little boy is growing up so fast.

Baby #3

Today I had my first ultrasound to verify my due date and make sure the baby was doing well. With Kiel by my side we got to see our little baby. I don’t think I’ve ever had an ultrasound this soon… so it was a treat to see our tiny little baby. The heartbeat sounded strong at 161bpm. At my appointment last week the doctor couldn’t find the heartbeat so he ordered the ultrasound. Which wasn’t a huge concern at 11 weeks but it was nice to know that the baby was developing normally.  We didn’t find out the sex of the baby… it’s a little early for that.. and the baby kept wiggling around. But we’ll find out at the end of August! And our due date is January 19th so I am sure our little one will join our family a week before that! The doctor schedules his c-sections at the end of 6months and he likes to schedule it about 10 days before the due date to make sure I don’t go into labor… Such a nice fella:)
