*~*Happy Birthday Connor*~*

Ok... 2 posts in one day.. but it really was a busy weekend!!! After the baby shower we all took naps.... well.... Kiel, Connor and my mom did... Erin and I were busy getting ready for party #2. We decided to have it at our house to keep things easy and mellow.. in case anything happened... but it really was perfect! When Connor woke up from his nap he came downstairs to his new Easel and tons of Balloons (his favorite!!) He's been crazy about coloring so it was perfect!

While Everyone was eating... the kids played in the "kiddie" pool (my niece Cori called it)...and then they found all the water balloons we filled up for them!!! They had so much fun with these... The boys put all the kids on the trampoline and then hammered them with the rest of the water balloons. They loved it!!

Next was the Pinata.. thanks to Sean and Michelle.... It was filled with like 10 pounds of Candy.. We didn't have a baseball bat so Kiel whipped out one of his golf clubs and the kids went to town!!
After a little help the candy started pouring out!!! Connor was amazed that Candy was inside!!

If 10 pounds of Candy wasn't enough we all went back inside and sang happy birthday to Connor and had ColdStone Creamery ice cream cupcakes... Connor loved blowing out his candles... He's going crazy in this pic.. if you couldn't tell....

All the kids looked like little smurfs while destroying their cupcakes. It was fun...

Next was the presents.... Connor got a lot of great clothes and some books but Connor's Uncle Marc had to buy him this Crazy Huge Dodge Truck (just like daddy's)... the boys went crazy and I couldn't get it open fast enough...

It was a really fun/exhausting day!!! Everyone slept really well that night!!

Baby Shower

Saturday morning we had the baby shower at my house. It was fun.. My Mom, Erin and I took care of all the food and my good friend Michelle was in charge of the entertainment. It was a nice morning. The girls are all so much fun and it wasn't too embarrassing!!

We had a Candy Bar for all the ladies to make a bag and share with their families!

Most of the gifts... My mom took care of the pack'n play.... Can't believe I haven't had one all this time.. it'll be nice for Chloe until Connor's ready to move out of his crib!

My Mom made this Gorgeous Diaper Cake... She's so creative!!

It was such a nice shower.. Thank you for everyone who helped or just came it was fun!

115 degrees+2year old =

After setting up Connor's trampoline for his birthday (yeah yeah... I know a little early Dad..) he asks all day long "jump?" So this morning while Kiel mowed our lawn we decided to make the trampoline even better by putting his froggie pool on it. Connor and Petey loved it!!! We were out there for at least an hour.. which is crazy in this heat... Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the Trampoline!!! We love you and can't wait to see you!!!

Connor's Beautiful Heart

Today we had a Cardiologist appointment...It's been 6 months since our last one... When Connor was born he had 5 (as far as I knew) holes in his heart which caused his SVT's. From then to today All 5 have closed! It's taken 2 years but I'm grateful he hasn't needed surgery! Connor really scared us 2 years ago and it's such a relief knowing that his body did what it needed to and fixed the problem. I'm grateful to have such a tough little boy.
