Spontaneous Night

Yesterday morning I got a call from my brother n'law Sean asking for some help finding a hotel for his family to stay at, that night for fun. He and his wife had the night and the next day off from work and he wanted to do something special for them. So the "activities director" got to work and found a really awesome resort close by that had a great water park. After Kiel got home from work I told him what Sean was planning and he sounded excited about it and eventually.... with some encouragement from Sean and Kiel, I booked us a room for the night as well. A couple hours later we were packed and headed to the Arizona Grand Resort. After everyone got checked in we went out to scope out this "water park" they advertised so much. It was impressive!! A kiddie pool (1 1/2 foot pool with splash pad), a wave pool/beach, a lazy river with rapids, 3 huge water slides, and another pool for volleyball. The kids loved it!!! After an hour of playing we went back and got cleaned up for dinner... Mexican food... yum. Today we went out again for most of the morning. We called it a day at about 1. The temps were already around 100 degrees and we all got Plenty of sun! Connor, Kiel and I headed home... cleaned up and the 3 of us took about a 2 1/2 hour nap... The Arizona sun really drains ya.. It was a nice day off! Kiel had a really busy&rough week last week so I thought something like this would be nice, and it really was! We talked about coming back each year, it was that fun!! I didn't get many photos...due to my pregnant-self being in the water as well.. but here are a couple!!
