Yesterday Kiel brought home his new "Baby"... a 1991 Mercedes 300E. His good Friend's girlfriend didn't want the car anymore. It was broken down in some parking lot and they told Kiel he could have it for free.. Kiel never really asked but he told me that he was going to bring it home. The title was put in his name and it's official I guess. Kiel got it to run and he drove it home and found the problem... I guess a tiny hose was leaking... I don't know... It needs a little TLC but Kiel's excited about it. I'll never understand Kiel's obsession with Cars but oh well. At least it was free so far..........

*Happy Easter*
This morning the ladies in the ward all got together to do an Easter Egg Hunt for all the kids. Something they do every Good Friday, because kids are out of school here in Gilbert. The seperated the kids in 2 groups.. kids 6 and under went on one side and kids older went on the other...Connor had a lot of fun and he did really good.. He just needs to move a little faster!! It took a lot for me not to get into the action and help Connor:)

A long Time Coming
We've been in this house for almost 2 years and we finally committed to cleaning up the backyard. After getting quotes ranging from $900 - $1800 to get to the finished product Kiel took it upon himself to get it done. With the help of his brothers they finished the job this morning!!! So here are some pictures from Beginning to end!!!
When we first moved in we have cactus Galore!!!!! To get rid of all of it was the first project! And the next picture we got rid of that tree and cactus... that 2nd tree started to slowly die...

These are pictures without the cactus and tree... we next layed more rock to fill in the dirt...
Next Kiel, me...(kinda) and Sean dug up the old sprinkler system and laid new piping and sprinkler heads...

Baby Crafts
Here are some more little things I've made for baby Chloe (the name Kiel says is 99% for sure... I think he's holding on to his 1% just to torture me:).
The Top 2 things are blinky holders I made with cute fabric, a snap and cute flowers to cover up the snap.
These are my first attempts to baby bows and a baby head band... it'll fit her for like a week.. it's a little small but first try*

Sewing 101
I got inspiration from one of the ladies in my ward... I did her hair today and I've seen her with these shawls and slings in church and I asked her about it. She told me that she made them and they were so simple to do.... so the adventurous girl that I am... on to JoAnn fabric's I went and 2 hours later I made a Baby Sling and a Nursing cover. Here are some pictures from the website you can order them from... if I Bought both of them together it would have cost me over $95.00. but mine are pretty close. I'm excited to use them!!!
